Raytown Productions Studio Terms of Service
Provider: Raytown Productions, LLC ("Raytown Productions," "we," "us," or "our")
Applies to: mixing, mastering, editing, vocal tuning, production, post-production and coaching services
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These terms apply when you ("Customer," "you") hire Raytown Productions for studio or coaching work. By accepting a quote or paying an invoice, you agree to them.
Quotes and payment
Every project is quoted individually after we discuss it. A quote describes the work, the number of songs and what will be delivered. We invoice through PayPal. Payment is due in full before work begins, unless we agree on a different arrangement in writing.
If you dispute a payment with PayPal or your bank instead of contacting us first, we may stop work on your project.
Turnaround
You'll usually receive the first version of your project within two to ten business days after we receive payment and your files, depending on the project and the current workload. These are estimates, not guarantees. Files that don't follow the preparation guide in our FAQ can cause delays; if there's a problem with your files, we'll contact you.
If we haven't received your files or feedback within 60 days of payment, we may close the project. Payment isn't refunded, but we'll credit it toward a future project if you come back within a year.
Revisions
For mixing, mastering, editing, tuning and production, you get unlimited revisions free of charge for ten days after we deliver the first version. If we don't hear from you within those ten days, the project is finalized and we deliver the final files. Changes requested after that are quoted separately.
Revisions are changes to the mix or master of the files you sent. New recordings, new parts, arrangement changes or new songs are new work and are quoted separately.
During the revision period we usually turn around one revision per day, sooner or later depending on our workload and how quickly we get your feedback.
Changing or adding files
Please send the exact files you want us to work on. Once work has begun, replacing or adding files costs 50% of the mixing or mastering fee for each song affected, unless we ask you for the new files.
Refunds
Because every project is custom work, all payments are non-refundable, except as described under Refusing or ending service. The ten days of free revisions exist to resolve any concerns with the result.
Your files
Download and store your final files when we deliver them. We generally keep project files after a project is finished, but we don't guarantee that they will be available later, and we are not responsible for files lost to hardware failure or any other cause.
Your rights to the music
You confirm that you own the recordings and compositions you send us, or have permission from the owners to have them edited, mixed, mastered or otherwise modified. You agree to indemnify Raytown Productions against claims, liabilities, costs and damages arising from any breach of this promise. You keep all rights to your music.
Promotional use
We may use short excerpts of work we've done for you to promote our services, for example on our website, YouTube or social media. We ask before publishing anything that hasn't been released yet. Tell us if you'd rather we never use your project.
No guarantees
We can't guarantee any commercial result, such as streams, sales, playlist placement or label interest. Coaching sessions and feedback are advice based on our experience; results depend on how you apply them.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Raytown Productions is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from our services, and our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Refusing or ending service
We may decline a project, or end one in progress, at our discretion. If we choose to end a project before delivering it, we'll return payment for the work we did not deliver.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you accept a quote applies to that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
