Cookies & advertising on this site

Raytown Productions ยท last updated September 29, 2026

This notice covers our plug-in website (the plug-in, help, and legal pages). It is part of our website privacy policy. What the plug-ins themselves send is covered by the plug-in privacy policy.

Your choices in short

Besides the storage we need to remember your choices, the optional analytics, advertising, attribution, and site-feature technologies described below are controlled through two groups that you can turn on or off separately:

What we set

Essential

Technology / storageWhat it doesWhen it is setHow long
rp_consent_v1Remembers your cookie choices so the Site can apply them. When you make a choice.180 days

Analytics

Technology / storageWhat it doesWhen it is setHow long
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*)Which pages and products are viewed and which buy buttons are clicked.Only when Analytics is allowed.Up to 2 years

Advertising & attribution

Technology / storageWhat it doesWhen it is setHow long
rp_attrRemembers how you first arrived (campaign tags, an ad's click identifier, a creator code, the arrival time, and any Meta browser identifier already present) so a later purchase can be credited to it.Only when Advertising & attribution is allowed.90 days from your arrival
Lemon Squeezy referral cookie (ls_aff_ref)Set by our store's referral script when you arrive through a creator's link, so that creator is credited if you buy.Only when Advertising & attribution is allowed. The script that sets it is not loaded before then.7 days
Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc)Lets us measure and show ads on Facebook and Instagram. Its browser identifier is also passed with an order.Only when Advertising & attribution is allowed.Up to 90 days
Google Ads (_gcl_*)Lets us measure and show ads on Google and YouTube.Only when Advertising & attribution is allowed.Up to 90 days
rpFomoFirstSeen, rpFomoState (session storage)Times the recent-purchase notice and remembers which notices you have already seen on this visit, so it doesn't reappear on every page or repeat itself. Stays in your browser. The notice itself is only shown when Advertising & attribution is allowed.Only when Advertising & attribution is allowed.Until you close the tab
rpReviewCampaign (session storage)Remembers which of our emails invited you to leave a review; sent to us only if you submit a review. You can submit a review without it.Only when you arrive from a review-request email link and Advertising & attribution is allowed.Until you close the tab

Google Analytics also passes its browser identifier with an order (if Analytics is allowed), so a download, trial, purchase, or refund can be matched to the visit. Allowing Analytics alone does not turn on any advertising or remarketing feature, and allowing Advertising & attribution alone does not pass the Analytics identifier.

Loaded from other providers

When third-party content or scripts load, the provider may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and information about the page or request.

What happens when you buy

Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy. When you click a buy button we pass, with your order: which button you clicked, your cookie choices (analytics and advertising), and whether your browser sent Global Privacy Control. If you allowed Advertising & attribution, we also pass the arrival details above and any Meta browser identifier, and remember a creator who referred you. If you allowed Analytics, we also pass the Google Analytics browser identifier. None of this changes your ability to buy, download, or get a license.

If you arrive on a creator's link without having allowed Advertising & attribution, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we store no referral and do not load the referral script. If you buy during that same visit, the creator's discount is still applied, but we may not be able to credit the sale to them. Creators can read how referral tracking works.

When a free download, trial, purchase, or refund happens, we may send a conversion event to advertising or analytics providers we use to measure campaign performance. The event may include a pseudonymous contact identifier such as a hashed email address, the advertising click identifier, an analytics or browser identifier, the event type, the product, and limited transaction information such as the amount. Hashing does not make personal information anonymous. These events never include audio, DAW projects, user presets, license keys, or machine-level licensing identifiers.

An event for an advertising platform is sent only if you allowed Advertising & attribution; an event for an analytics provider only if you allowed Analytics. An event is not sent to a provider if you rejected the corresponding group, if you haven't chosen where we ask first, if your browser sent Global Privacy Control, or if we cannot determine the required choice (for example, a checkout that didn't start on this site). We also do not send advertising events if you previously opted out of advertising using the same email address.

Your choice

In the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and where we cannot reliably determine your region, optional analytics, advertising, attribution, and other non-essential storage do not run until you make the relevant choice, and nothing is pre-selected. You get three buttons of equal size: Accept optional turns on both groups, Reject optional turns both off, and Customize lets you pick Analytics, Advertising & attribution, or both. Rejecting is one click, the same as accepting. Elsewhere, both groups are on when you arrive, without a choice from you, and you can turn them off from the same settings or block them in your browser.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as an opt-out from optional advertising and measurement everywhere. Advertising and measurement technologies do not run, optional attribution storage is not set, and we do not send covered advertising or analytics conversion events. It does not affect checkout, your license, security, or emails about your account or purchase.

When two things disagree, this is the order we follow:

  1. Global Privacy Control, if your browser sends it. Optional storage stays off, even if you clicked Accept or accepted on an earlier visit.
  2. The choice you made on this site.
  3. Where you are: where we don't have to ask, both groups are on until you choose otherwise.
  4. Anything else, including when we can't tell where you are: off.

You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie settings link here or at the foot of every page on this site. When you turn a group off we delete its cookies and session-storage items that our own code can reach; anything left can be cleared in your browser's settings.
